Gold Rush Freight is a private service provider. It is not FMCSA, the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Unified Registration System, the FMCSA Portal, IFTA, Inc., or any state or federal agency. Gold Rush Freight cannot issue a USDOT number, grant operating authority, approve a safety audit, determine compliance, or guarantee an agency decision or timeline.
Official sources come first
Applicants and carriers can access government information and forms directly from FMCSA. Start with the official FMCSA Registration pages, the Operating Authority guide, and the New Entrant Safety Assurance Program. Procedures, systems, forms, and fees can change; the current agency page controls.
What private administrative support can cover
If agreed in writing, administrative support may include explaining a checklist, organizing non-sensitive business information, identifying official links, tracking requested next steps, or helping a carrier prepare questions for an agency or qualified professional. The carrier remains responsible for choosing the correct registration type, reviewing every answer, filing accurate information, maintaining required records, paying fees, and complying with applicable rules.
Fees and outcomes
FMCSA currently lists a $300 non-refundable filing fee for each permanent operating authority requested. The official fee is paid through the authorized government process and is separate from any private support fee. Do not pay a private provider on the assumption that a fee guarantees approval, activation, a safety result, freight, insurance, or revenue.
Protect regulated and identity records
Do not upload a driver’s licence or CDL, medical certificate, Social Security number, MVR, Clearinghouse record, drug or alcohol testing record, driver qualification file, tax document, banking record, insurance policy, or account credential through a public form or chat. If a defined service later requires records, use only an approved secure method and disclose the minimum information necessary.
